Hari OM Parents,
The key focus of our session today was continued review of Mahabharata (Part 1) starting with Adi parva that the youths learnt in Grade 5 of balavihar.
Our session started with Likhitha Japa (attached is the picture of youths doing Likhitha Japa) followed by starting prayers. Sasi ji then led the class with chanting of few slokas including teaching the chanting of Mahalakshmi Ashtakam.
We then start with a brief summary of the things we discussed in last class. We continued to build out kuru dynasty family tree and used that to drive the review of the part 1 of Mahabharata. The class session was very interactive and the children actively participated in the discussion / Review. Today we discussed the birth of the Pandava and Kaurava princess and the related stories. We plan to continue this review further in the next class as well. We finished our session with Closing prayers
The children then assembled in the assembly hall where they performed Saraswathi puja led by temple priest and Anjana ji. This was followed by the Aarthi and pledge in the assembly hall.
We would like to remind you that next week (10/04) there is no balavihar Class. The next Class is on 10/11.
