Hari Om!
Here is a brief summary of the class activities from Week 5, Oct 20th, 2019:
1. Beginning Prayers:
- We have started learning the Ganesha Pancharatnam. Audio file is attached.
Please encourage the children to listen to the stotra and learn it.
2. Jeopardy!
- We had a fun game of Jeopardy to revise what has been covered so far in the Mahabaratha and India,Sacred Land - Saints of India curriculum. It was good to see the children recall many facts from the lessons covered so far. Do keep them engaged in learning and remembering the lessons as these are building blocks for upcoming years.
3. House Inaugural Activities:
- As part of House Inaugural, all four Houses were asked to make as many cutlery sets as possible within 5 minutes. Arjuna's Arrows (Grades 3 and 5) made 123 sets and earned 585 points for the House! It was great to see the whole team working cooperatively and with attention to make these sets for Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK).
4. Reminders:
- Please make sure the children are in class by 9:15am
- Picture day is Nov. 3rd (traditional wear)
