Nov 17, 2019 - Grade 5 (Sunday PM)
Following is summary of Balavihar session on Nov 17th, 2019
- We started the class with Meditation (2 mins), Guru Stotram and continue to learn – Ajam Nirvikalpam
- We continue to learn Ganesh Pancharatnam (Mudakaratha Modakam....)
- We learnt the story birth of Pandavas and Kauravas and meeting with Dronacharya
- Pandavas are 5 children of Pandu, Kunti and Madri in the forest
- 3 out of 5 Pandavas born to Pandu & Kunthi - (udhishthir with blessings of Dharamaraj, Arjun with blessing from Indra, Bhima with blessing from Vayu Bhagavan
- 2 out of 5 Pandavas born to Madri - Nakul and Sahadev with grace of Ashwini kumars
- Kauravas are 100 children born to Dhritarastr and Gandhari
- After the death of Pandu & Madri, Kunti came to Hastinapur with Pandavas.
- Both Pandavas and Kauravas started education under Kula Guru Krupacharya
- One day, while playing Ball fell in a well, that is when they met Dronacharya, the great archer. Dronacharya became guru for both Pandavas and Kauravas. However, Arjuna became his favourate student.
- We learn the story of Tapovan Maharaj, He is the Guru for Gurudev - Swami Chinmayananda. We discussed the values followed by Tapovan Maharaj

- We started learning Bhagavad Gita Slokas
- Repeat slokas from previous weeks (1 through 4)
