Hari Om Parents!
Here is the summary of what we covered in today's Sunday class
- Started the class chanting three Om and followed by Sahana vavatu.
- said prayer for Ganesh, Saraswati, Brahmarpanam Brahma havir.
- Chanted letters A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I and J with a nice clap and snap rhythm.
- Did an memory game activity from letter J lesson plan to explain how concentration helps to remember things.
- Continued with letter K for "Kindness". As kids know what is kindness already in someway, used few examples to have them say kind or unkind.
- Shared The story "Kindness of Prince Siddhartha".
- Told the kids to watch the story in you tube link which was shared with parents in WhatsApp "https://youtube/DtN9lEK8Wfw"
- Did a quite time circle with the kids chanting Om and Rama.
- Alphabet K coloring sheet was given.
- Since it was winter break, shared with parents to have the kids watch moral stories from YouTube when kids have screen time.
