This week we started our class with Likhita Japa followed by Shlokas.
- We practiced the Sri Mahalakshmi Ashtakam in class a few times. This was followed by a video recording of all children chanting this shloka. The class video recording will be sent to the parents via WhatsApp.
- We continued our discussion on Mahabharata by discussing the different Army formations during the Kurukshetra war. The following formations were discussed in detail:
- Krauncha vyuha (Heron formation)
- Makara vyuha (Crocodile formation)
- Kurma vyuha (Tortoise or Turtle formation)
- Trishula vyuha (Trident formation)
- Garuda vyuha (Eagle formation)
- Mandala vyuha (Galaxy formaton)
- Oormi vyuha (Ocean formation)
- Vajra vyuha (Thunderbolt formation)

1. PLAY: NEXT CLASS (Feb 02, 2020) ALL PARENTS ARE REQUESTED TO MEET THE TEACHERS IN THE CLASS AT 2.30PM AFTER ARATHI. WE WILL BE DISCUSSING THE PLAY THAT WILL BE PERFORMED BY OUR CLASS DURING THE ANNUAL DAY.
2. Shlokathon registration is now open. Shlokathon will be on April 4, 2020 from 1-4pm. Shlokas have to be memorized. Participation points and prizes for everyone.
