Hari Om Parents!
Here is the summary of what we covered in today's Sunday class
- Started the class chanting three Om and followed by Sahana vavatu.
- said prayer for Ganesh, Saraswati, Brahmarpanam Brahma havir.
- Chanted letters A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M and N with a walking exercise using toes and heels. Kids loved it so much.
- Continued with letter R for "Right". explained why letter P and Q are not thought at this moment. In Vedantic way Q and P will come in the end of all the letters as in order to learn to be Q for quite first we need to learn the all other letters to be better person with sweet mind. Once we can quite our body, mind and Intellect we can pray to god in a true devotional way.
- Did a brainstorming questions with what is right and wrong. Had the kids to quietly raise the hands only if the given statement is right. If not they should stay quiet. Most of kids were able to follow that instructions. It was fun to watch the kids in these activities.
- Shared the story of "The Rock on the Road" about a noble King and the boy who did the right thing of tried to move the stone from middle of the road. Please ask the kids to share the story with you at home.
- Alphabet R coloring sheet was given.
