        Hope you all are enjoying the beautiful weather and taking family walks/biking and staying healthy . Last Sunday was another beautiful session. Here is the recap -

May 10, 2020 -
1. On the occasion of Mother's Day we started our class with how each child was planning a surprise or doing something special for their moms. Got to hear lot of wonderful ideas. Hope all the moms had a wonderful time on the special day. Mother is the role model and inspiration to all of us.
2. We started with opening prayers - 3 OM's, followed by Shloka's - Vakratunda, Saraswati and Guru bramha.
3. Chanted the Dhyaan shlok.
4. We also talked about Gurudev as we all had celebrated Gurudev Jayanti. We spoke about Gurudev's life and how he found his Guru(Tapovan ji Maharaj) and became a Tapasvi. Our Gurudev lived a life of great discipline. He used to say " Let you work be judged by performance and not by promises ".
5.Brainstorming - Who is a Tapasvi ? One who does tapas is a Tapasvi. And what is Tapas? Tapas means a vow. One who has taken many vows and lives by them. One becomes great and develops a noble personality when one lives by vows, rules and discipline.
6. We asked children what vows can we take so  we can develop good habits and discipline for life. Here are a few -
* I will always sit erect and wear a 😊
* I will always make my bed 🛏
* I will always brush my teeth before going to bed
* I will always speak the truth
* I will never gossip
* I will never say bad words
* I will always say my prayers
