Hari Om Parents,
Below is a summary of the activities of our first session for KG. We enjoyed getting to know the enthusiastic kids and are eagerly looking forward to our exciting year ahead.

Today's Activities
- Guru Stotram and common introduction session in the Auditorium
- Information session in the classroom with the KG Parents
- Kids introduction and discussion of their fun activities they participated this summer
- Om Chanting with the kids in the classroom
- Introduction to Ganesha Sharanam Bhajan
- First Shloka

- The kids sang their first bhajan:
Ganesha Sharanam, Sharanam Ganesha
Vaageesha Sharanam, Sharanam Vaageesha
Saareesha Sharanam, Sharanam Saareesha
- Kids then took a fun activity break to play a number puzzle to draw Ganesha and color it with crayons
- We also went through our first story of Who is God? Where is God? What does God Do? Including enthusiastic support from Sonakshi explaining how she lit 2 candles in her hallway during a power outage to spread light
- After the completion of the story, we had interesting feedback from kids on what they learnt today. Reva chiming in with God is everywhere, Aditri quipped she learnt that God can do anything, Srivathsa adding that Krishna is his favorite god.
- We wrapped up a fun physical activity: Brain exercise. Very enthusiastic participation from all kids !!

Next Session Agenda
- Proceed with our curriculum on Alphabet Safari and try to cover A & B.
- Practice our Slokas and Bhajans
- Class drawing / craft activities with stories
Reminder & Activities for home
- Kindly encourage children to practice meditation at home
- Parents do ask children to show you and challenge you to perform the brain exercise
- Parents please send the following with the children next class: Pencils, Crayons / Color Pencils, Pocket Folder, a notebook, My Prayers Book & Water Bottle
- Practice the Bhajan & Slokas with the children
