Hari Om Parents!
Here is the summary of what we covered in today's Sunday class
- Started the class chanting three Om and followed by Sahana vavatu.
- Welcome the kids to the new year and briefly talked about what they did in winter break.
- said prayer for Ganesh, Saraswati, Brahmarpanam Brahma havir.
- Chanted letters A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J and K with a nice clap and snap rhythm.
- Continued with letter L for "Love". Did brainstorming on Love.
- Shared The story "Gandhiji's Love" about how Gandhiji treated a thief with Love when the person said why he was stealing.
- Did the puzzle with animals/birds which start with letter to form word LOVE. Another activity with Popsicle sticks to make a house and explained how Love binds the home like glue make the sticks to make a house.
- Talked about who loves us the most and how we all are loved by god with what we have as gods gifts.
- Alphabet L coloring sheet was given.
