All kids now got it all right. Opposite game is always lots of FUN.

Shiva Yoga
All kids had a lot of fun doing the normal yoga along with Shiva Nrithya dance steps yoga.
  1. We stretched our hands above our head, our legs hip width apart and rotated our arms and shoulders, hips and twisted.
  2. Then we did Shiva Yoga - We acted as we were all Shiva as Nataraj and did the Nataraj pose – First on the left side and then on the right side
  3. Shiva is known for his Tapasya. So we all did tapas in the tree pose

Who is Shiva?
Last whole month we were talking about Shiva. Looking at the picture of Shiva we saw so many different things,
  • He has the river ganga flowing from his head
  • He has a crescent moon sitting on his head
  • A third eye on his forehead
  • He has a snake on his neck
  • And his throat is blue
  • He wear rudaskha beads on his neck, hands and hair
  • He has vibhuti everywhere

Activity
  • Concentration Game - We have to concentrate and then Count the number of stones falling in the tin box.  Kids closed the eyes and counted in mind. Then we counted the beads in Sanskrit to the number kids will ask for.
  • How to be Shiva for a day? – Each kid pretended they were Shiva for the day. Each child's throat was painted BLUE like Shiva, they got a GOOGLY eye on their forehead and also had VIBUTI on their hands so they can see and smell like SHIVA.
