Vyasa: Vyasa Bhagavan did a great service by compiling vedas into 4 categories. He assigned 4 of his disciples one each to propagate this knowledge. Sanatana Dharma survives only because of Vyasa Bhagvan. These vedas are too subtle and intricate for common man to comprehend. He wrote Mahabharata (Scribe: Lord Ganesha), the history of India, in a way it appealed to the common man yet imparted sufficient knowledge to live a happy and meaningful life.
